Klonopin 2 mg is a very well-known medication in the pharmacy world. It is approved by the FDA to treat certain seizure disorders and panic disorders. Klonopin has a generic version known as Clonazepam. It is classified under a class of drugs called benzodiazepine. It is a CNS stimulant. Klonopin 2 mg works by increasing the level of a certain chemical called GABA. This chemical helps to produce calming effects to prevent and treat seizures and panic disorders.  It generally starts showing its effects after 1 to 4 hours and starts to fade after a few hours. However, the drug stays in the system for 6 to 9 days and can be detected through the urine for up to one month.

Klonopin medication is not for those people who have liver disease, kidney problems, kidney disease, heart problems, overactive thyroid, mental illness, head injury, allergy to it, and alcohol addiction. Pregnant and Breastfeeding women should also stay away from this drug as it can pass to the baby and cause dangerous side effects. Store this medication at room temperature in an airtight container.
